OpenTESOL 2024 - Striking the Balance: Aligning Teaching and Assessment in IELTS
I recently had the privilege of attending the OpenTESOL International Hybrid Conference 2024, where I had the opportunity to engage with educators and professionals in the field.
My presentation, titled "the Misalignment Between Teaching Practices and Learning Outcomes in IELTS Courses,” drew from my extensive experience as a Program Advisor at numerous IELTS centers.
Inspired by my work in this role, I've been striving to develop an IELTS curriculum that ensures a seamless alignment between teaching practices and the assessment of learning outcomes.
One of the highlights of the conference was being able to share my insights on pressing issues such as digital transformation and teacher empowerment. These topics are not only relevant but also imperative in shaping the future of education.
